Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a welfare scheme for children who have lost either one or both parents to COVID-19. Under this, the government will give the expenses of marriage as well as the education of children. The government will also provide laptops and tablets for their online studies.

Under the scheme, financial assistance of Rs 4,000 per month will be provided to the child’s parent or caregiver till they reach adulthood. Not only this, the children studying in schools will be given tablets or laptops, then the government will also make proper arrangements for the marriage of the girls. An amount of 1,01,000 will be given by the state government for the marriage of the girls.

Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana: The Yogi government of UP has now announced to provide financial assistance of Rs 2500 to all the orphan children of the state.
