Women Portal ‘Nari’ Portal Launch Details:
This portal was launched by Smt. Maneka Gandhi at a function in Delhi on 2 January 2018. In this function, Maneka Gandhi made the official announcement of this portal in the presence of Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar.
Features of Nari Web Portal:
Nari Portal: Nari Portal has been created especially for women. Information about every scheme related to women is available in it. So that they can know it and use it.
Total Schemes: A total of 350 schemes have been mentioned on this portal. Apart from the schemes, other information like how to register in these schemes, what are their benefits etc. is also given on this portal.
Relationship with government departments: Through this portal, women can directly contact the departments through which these schemes are being implemented.

Division of the portal: This portal is divided into 8 parts. These 8 parts are Health, Decision Making, Addressing violence, Social Support, Employment, Education, Legal Support and Housing and Shelter etc.
Division according to age interval: According to the age of women, this portal has been divided into 4 parts. In this, the scheme for women has been shown according to their age. These 4 intervals are 0 to 6 years, 7 to 17 years, 18 to 60 years and above 60 years.

A new feature panic button has also been added in this scheme. Women can use it in any difficult time. This button will be used in Uttar Pradesh on 26th January, Republic Day. And if it is successful then it will be launched in the entire country.
