Various schemes operated under Shram Kalyan Yojana

• Academic Scholarship Scheme- Through this scheme, financial assistance ranging from ₹ 1000 to ₹ 20000 will be provided to two children of workers working in industrial institutions and establishments. 1000 rupees financial assistance under this scheme from fifth to eighth class, ₹ 1200 to students studying in class 9th to 12th, ₹ 1500 to students studying in graduate, ITI, polytechnic, PGDCA and DCA, students studying in postgraduate ₹ 3000 to girl students, ₹ 10000 to students studying in BE and ₹ 20000 to students studying in MBBS will be provided under the scheme.

• Education Promotion Award Scheme- Through this scheme, to get 75% marks in 10th and 12th class MP Board, 85% marks in CBSE exam, and 70% marks in graduation, post-graduation and BE exam in higher education and 60% or more marks in MBBS exam. Financial assistance ranging from ₹ 1500 to ₹ 25000 will be provided to the students.

• Stationery Grant Scheme- Copies will be distributed at concessional rates under the Stationery Grant Scheme. Children of eligible workers will be provided 10 copies and 10 registers under this scheme on submission of prescribed concessional originals.

• Marriage Assistance Scheme- Through this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 15000 per marriage will be provided to two daughters of laborers. To get the benefit of this scheme, this assistance will be provided after applying in the prescribed format before the date of marriage.

• Support scheme for the funeral- Under the funeral assistance scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6000 will be provided by the department for the last rites of the worker. For providing this assistance, it is mandatory to apply within 1 year from the date of death.

• Kalyani Assistance Scheme- If the beneficiary dies due to any illness or accident, then in this situation, financial assistance of ₹ 12000 will be provided by his wife after applying in the prescribed format within 1 year from the date of death. This financial assistance will be provided in two installments at the end of June and December. The amount of financial assistance will be distributed directly to the beneficiary’s account.

• Grace Assistance Scheme- If the worker gets sick or dies due to an accident, then in this situation, financial assistance ranging from ₹ 5000 to ₹ 25000 is provided to the worker under the ex-gratia assistance scheme. In the event of illness, it is mandatory to file a medical report, a certificate of admission, and discharge for at least 24 hours in the hospital.

• Best Workers Award Scheme- Under this scheme, an amount of ₹ 15000 will be given to the best worker as a reward. The selection of the labor will be done on the recommendation of the committee on the proposal of the Welfare Commission with the approval of the Hon’ble Chairman.

• Shramik Sahitya Puraskar Scheme- Under this scheme, prize money of ₹ 5000 and a citation will be given to the workers. In addition, a memento will be provided.
