• The basic objective of Rajasthan Ghar Ghar Aushadhi Yojana is to reduce the expenses and troubles related to diseases. The Rajasthan government is looking into how a common person with limited income can successfully fight complex diseases.

Keeping this in mind, the government has taken the initiative to encourage the general public to use medicines. Consuming medicines keeps diseases away for a long time and also reduces expenses.

Rajasthan Ghar Ghar Aushadhi Scheme Features:-

• Under the Rajasthan Ghar Ghar Aushadhi Scheme, the government will provide four types of plants to the people. The names of these plants are Tulsi, Giloy, Kalmegh and Ashwagandha. These plants are rich in beneficial elements and prove beneficial in relieving problems like cold, fever etc. The good thing is that these plants can be easily grown everywhere.
• Caring for the plants provided is not complicated. There is no need to give them any special treatment. Also, people will not have to worry about adding fertilizer etc. to them. These plants can be easily grown in Rajasthan.
• This scheme will be operated by a committee. To ensure the benefits of Rajasthan Ghar Ghar Aushadhi Yojana, a task force will be formed in all the districts whose chairman will be the Collector of the district. The Collector will conduct the medicine distribution program of the district. All these will be monitored by the state level committee formed by the Chief Secretary of the state. Panchayat will be used to take this scheme to the villages. Panch and Sarpanch will deliver medicinal plants to the people.
• A big nursery has been constructed for this scheme.
• Under Rajasthan Ghar Ghar Aushadhi Scheme, eight saplings will be given to every family. It will operate for five years.
• The Rajasthan government has kept the budget of this scheme at Rs 210 crore. Rs 31.4 crore will be spent in its first year. The fixed amount of the budget will be spent in five years.
• Plants will be distributed free of cost.
