Benefits and features of National Family Benefit Scheme Bihar:-
National Family Benefit Scheme Bihar has been started by the Government of Bihar to benefit all the economically weaker category citizens of the state.
The benefit of Rashtriya Parivarik Labh Yojana Bihar will be given to the poor and families living under BPL category of the state.
Through this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to the victim's family in case of death of the earning person in the family.

The victim's family can fulfill their financial needs by availing the benefit of financial assistance provided by the government.

Eligibility for Mukhyamantri Rashtriya Parivarik Labh Yojana:-

To avail the benefits of National Family Benefit Scheme, the applicant must be a native of Bihar.
Only citizens living below the poverty line will be eligible for this scheme. Who has been residing in Bihar for at least 10 years.
The earning member of the family has died suddenly or in an accident.
To avail the benefits of this scheme, the age of the deceased should be between 18 to 60 years.
If the age of the deceased is found to be less or more than the age of the deceased in the certified document, the application will be rejected.
If the applicant's family is already receiving the benefits of any other government pension scheme, then they will not be eligible for this scheme.

To avail benefits under National Family Benefit Scheme Bihar, the applicant will have to first register himself. After which applicants can apply online. The process to register is as follows.

First of all you have to go to the official website of Right to Public Services and Other Services Bihar.
After this the home page of the website will open in front of you.

On the home page, you will have to click on the Citizen section section and click on the option of registering yourself.
As soon as you click, the registration form will open in front of you.
Now you have to select the necessary information asked in this form like your name, email ID, mobile number, password and state.
After this you will have to enter the given captcha code and click on Submit option.
In this way your registration process will be completed.

How to apply online under National Family Benefit Scheme Bihar?:-
First of all you have to go to the official website of Bihar Government for RTPS and other services.
After this the home page of the website will open in front of you.
On the home page you will see the option of RTPS services.
You have to click on the option of applying for National Family Benefit Scheme in the section of Services of Social Security Schemes of Social Welfare Department.
As soon as you click, the application form will open in front of you.
Now you will have to enter all the information asked in the application form like name of the deceased, name of son and daughter, gender, time of death, age, district, panchayat, bank account details etc.
After entering all the information, you will have to upload the necessary documents and photo asked in the form.
After this you have to tick on the option of I Agree.
Now you have to select your department in the option of Apply To The Office.
After this you have to click on the OK option.
Now you have to enter the captcha code given below and click on Submit option.

Now you have to enter the Login ID. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.

How to apply offline under Rashtriya Parivarik Labh Yojana Bihar?:-
To apply offline, first of all you have to go to your nearest SDO office or Social Welfare Department office.
By going there you will have to get the application form to apply under the scheme.
After receiving the application form, you will have to carefully enter all the necessary information asked in the form.
After this you will have to attach all the documents asked in the form like death certificate, photo copy of FIR etc.
After this you will have to submit your form to the SDO office.
A receipt will be given to you by the office official.
After this your application form will be scrutinized by the SDO officer.
After verification of the investigation, a financial assistance amount of Rs 20 thousand will be sent to the bank account of the beneficiary family.
