In such a situation, even small children of the family have to leave the house to get employment, but this is a very punishable crime. It is against the law of our country to make minor children work. June 12 is celebrated as Child Labor Prohibition Day all over the world, on the occasion of this day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath started a new scheme in the form of Uttar Pradesh Child Labor Vidya Yojana. Under this scheme, financial assistance is to be given to small children, let us know about this scheme in detail-
UP Child Labor Vidya Yojana Objective :-
Due to the poor economic condition of the families, small children of their families have to work to earn and due to this they are deprived of all education. To solve this problem, Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana has been started by the Uttar Pradesh government. It has been done that under this scheme, children will be provided financial assistance.
UP Child Labor Vidya Yojana started :-
The benefits of the scheme will start being available from Child Labor Prohibition Day i.e. 12th June. Its benefit is to be given to the children of labor families to provide good livelihood, both good food and education will be provided to them to make their future bright.
UP Child Labor Vidya Yojana Financial Assistance :-
Under Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana, ₹ 1000 will be given to labor boys and ₹ 1200 to labor girls from the government.
Under the scheme, in order to encourage education, an incentive amount of ₹ 6000 will be given by the government to poor students studying in class 8th, 9th and 10th.
UP Child Labor Vidya Yojana First Phase :-
This scheme of Uttar Pradesh has currently been started as a pilot project, thus it has been started in 20 districts of 13 divisions. Till now, a list of 2000 children who are doing child labor has been made from these districts, this data has been taken from the 2011 census list. Maximum number of child laborers have been found in these 20 districts which were taken up at the beginning of the scheme, that is why this scheme has been started from these 20 districts.
UP Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana Eligibility :-
Under this scheme, child laborers living in Uttar Pradesh will also get the benefit of the scheme. Currently, child laborers working in 20 districts will be included under this scheme.
Only children between 8 to 18 years will be included under the scheme.
Under the scheme, children who do not have parents or one of the two parents will be given priority.
Children in the family whose parents are disabled or one of them is disabled will also be given priority under the scheme.
Under the scheme, priority will also be given to those children whose parents are suffering from some serious illness.

UP Child Labor Vidya Yojana Selection Process :-
In this scheme, children will be identified through survey or inspection under the chairmanship of officials of the concerned department, Gram Panchayats, local bodies, Childline and School Management Committee.
If a child is suffering from any serious illness, priority will be given for his/her selection. For this, a certificate will be issued from the Chief Medical Officer.
Those families which do not have land and the head of their family is a woman, then the Census List 2011 will be used for their identification.
A list of selected beneficiaries is prepared and uploaded to the e-tracking system on the official website portal.
UP Child Labor Vidya Yojana Registration :-
There is no online or offline registration process under this scheme, its benefits will be provided through the list of beneficiaries created in the selection process. In the list prepared, money will be deposited in the bank through Direct Benefit Transfer facility.
