The government of Gujarat has planned to launch Niramay Gujarat Yojana to help and protect people above the age of 30 against non-communicable diseases. The chief minister of Gujarat will launch this visionary project that is meant to cover around 3 crore people in Gujarat. The scheme Niramay Gujarat Yojana is yet to be launched, but the government has provided some insights about this upcoming project. What is Niramay Gujarat Yojana? :-
Niramay Gujarat Yojana has been proposed to furnish safety and preventive measures against non-communicable diseases. Non-communicable diseases essentially consist of diseases like cancer, anemia, diabetes, paralysis, heart attack, renal diseases, high blood pressure and so on. Niramay Gujarat Yojana will focus on establishing primary health centers and community health centres. These centers will help in screening those who are above 30 years of age. The screening will be done every Friday, which is also known as Mamta Diwas.

The scheme will be screening those who are above 30 years of age.
Niramay Gujarat Yojana will help in the prevention of non-communicable diseases such as cancer, anemia, diabetes, paralysis, heart attack, renal diseases, high blood pressure and so on.
Nirmal Cards will be provided to the beneficiaries of this scheme.These will include health details of the beneficiaries.
Screening facilities will reduce medical expenses by Rs 12000 to Rs 15000.
