Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme is a well-known scheme of Madhya Pradesh, the main objective of this scheme is to increase industries in the state so that people can increase employment opportunities and earn themselves and also provide employment to others. This is possible only when small and big industries are established and the risk of setting up such industries can be taken only when the government can help people in this in the form of loans and subsidies. What are the rules related to loan in Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme? [Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana Rules]
Under this scheme, a person applying for loan can get a loan ranging from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 10 lakh. Therefore, loan can be taken only for that type of business whose cost is within this range.
Under this scheme, up to 15% of the total expenses incurred in their start up will be given by the government to the general category people which will be maximum of Rs 10 lakh.
Under this scheme, people belonging to ST/SC/OBC category will be given support of up to 30% of the total expenditure incurred in their start up by the government, which will be maximum Rs 20 lakh.
The people of Vimukt Ghumakkad and Semi-Ghumakkad caste will be given assistance of up to 30% of the total expenditure incurred in their start up by the government, which will be maximum of Rs 30 lakh.
If the people affected by the Bhopal gas tragedy want to take advantage of this scheme, then the government will give them a loan of 30% of the total expenses for the start up.
People applying under this scheme will be given a subsidy of 5% on the loan by the government. And this subsidy will be given to female candidates up to 6%. The maximum value of this subsidy will be Rs 25 thousand per year and the period will be 7 years.
According to the scheme, the maximum period for repaying the loan has been fixed at 7 years.
Under this scheme, collateral security will not have to be given by the applicant nor will it be asked by the department because this security will be given by the MSME to the bank.
Also, instructions have been given by the government to complete this entire process in 30 days and the loan money should be given to the selected people within 15 days.

What are the rules for Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme eligibility? [Eligibility Criteria] :-
Only residents of Madhya Pradesh can apply under this scheme. Citizens from outside the state will be unable to avail the benefits of the scheme.
Education criteria have been set for applying under the scheme. To apply under the scheme, it is necessary to have passed 5th class, even then you will be considered eligible for the loan.
Only industries coming under MSME will be able to get the benefit of this loan subsidy scheme.
Age criteria have also been fixed for this scheme, only those whose age is between 18 to 45 years can avail the benefit of this scheme.
If the loan applicant is taking benefit under any other loan scheme running in the state, then he cannot participate in this scheme.
If the loan taker has been declared a defaulter by any bank or institution, then he is also not allowed to participate in this scheme.

To avail the benefits of this scheme, you will have to fill the application form for which you can go to the district office of your district and take the form. You will get this form for free, that is, you will not have to pay any cost.
You have to fill this form with all the information and also submit your project report along with it. The better the project report, the easier it will be for you to take a loan.
If you find any deficiency in the report and your form, the authority can cancel the form, so do this work carefully.
The authority will have 15 days to discuss and approve your loan.
When the loan is sanctioned and the amount comes into your account, you will also be given training so that it becomes easier for you to do business and you become capable of taking all kinds of risks.

Age criteria have been fixed for the scheme, hence it is mandatory to provide proof of it, for which you will also have to attach a copy of the birth certificate.

To fill any loan form, it is necessary to submit a passport size photograph of the person in whose name the loan is to be taken.
