Rajasthan government has started Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana to reduce the incidents of feticide in the state. Under this scheme, the state government will encourage poor families to educate their girls and marry them at the right age. Families where a girl child is born will be given financial assistance in installments till she completes her 12th standard.
Key features of the scheme :-
Financial assistance to daughters – Rajasthan government will help the families of the daughters financially, so that they can educate the girls well and give them a good future. This financial assistance will be available to those girls who were born on or after June 1, 2016. The state government will provide total assistance of Rs 50,000 to each girl.
Payment will be made in installments – According to the official document, it is clear that the state government wants that the families of the girls whose families will get this financial assistance should use that money only for the education and upbringing of their children. To ensure that the assistance is not misused, the government will provide assistance in installments to the selected families.
Those who were born and studied in Rajasthan – Before giving the benefit of this scheme, the government will ensure that the beneficiary is a resident of Rajasthan. The benefit of this scheme will be given only to those girls who were born in Rajasthan or within the state borders and studied in a government school.
Eligibility criteria of Chief Minister Rajshree Scheme
This scheme has been launched simultaneously in the entire Rajasthan state, the beneficiary must ensure that he/she falls in the eligibility criteria given below.
Only for girls – As the name suggests, it is mainly mentioned in the instructions of the scheme that this scheme is only for girls. Only they can avail benefits after registering in it.
Date of Birth – It is clearly stated in the instruction manual of Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana that under this scheme, only those parents can register their girl child who is born on or after June 1, 2016.
Rajasthan Domicile – Only parents living in Rajasthan can get their child's Panchikaran done under this scheme, it is mandatory for them to have the Domicile Certificate of Rajasthan state.
Born in a government hospital – The benefit of the scheme will be available to those girls who are born in a government hospital in any part of the state. In case of delivery at home, those girls will be deprived of the benefits of this scheme. Apart from this, girls born in hospitals registered under the Janani Suraksha Yojana run by the Central Government will also be considered eligible for this scheme.
Bhamashah card holders – When this scheme was first implemented, Aadhaar card and Bhamashah card were not mandatory for the first and second installment. But after May 15, 2017, amendments were made and after this the financial assistance provided under the scheme started being given directly to the bank account of the Bhamashah holder.
After the woman becomes pregnant, before delivery, she will have to give her information to the nearest Anganwadi or Asha worker, where she will have to give the details of her Bhamashah card and the bank registered in it.
Those who do not have Bhamashah card, they will have to get Panchikaran done for it first. Its application will be done at the nearest e-Mitra center.
Chief Minister Rajshree Yojana Special Criteria (Some special conditions Eligibility) :-
If a parent has more than 2 girls, they can still avail benefits under this scheme. The third girl child will also get the benefit of the first two installments, but she will not get the benefit of the further installments.
In any family, the benefit of the entire installment will be available only to those whose family has maximum 2 girls alive.
If due to some reason a girl dies, but she has already received the benefit of the first two installments, then in such a situation, if the next child of those parents is a girl, then she will get the benefit of the entire installment i.e. the entire scheme.
Required documents for Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana –
To prove your eligibility in the scheme, you will need some documents, which you will have to produce along with the form at the time of your registration. For this, Aadhar Card, Bhamashah Card, Address Proof, Native Certificate, Birth Certificate and passport size photograph of the girl child should be present at the time of registration.
Chief Minister Rajshree Yojana Application Process (Application Form Process and how to Apply)
Application for the first installment – For the scheme, the woman will have to register her name in the Anganwadi before delivery, where a unique ID will be created for that child. The first installment after delivery will be given to the beneficiary after all the investigations by the Medical and Health Department.
Application for second installment – The second installment of the scheme will be transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary after all the vaccinations after one year of birth. For the second installment, it is mandatory to upload the child card online after vaccination.
If the child's mother dies during or after delivery, the amount given will be transferred to the father's account. If both the parents die, then the financial assistance will be transferred to the account of whoever will be the official guardian of the child.
Registration of the first and second installments is done simultaneously in the Anganwadi before delivery, there will be no need to apply twice or separately. Along with this, all the information will have to be entered online.
Third installment – The third installment will be received during admission in first class. For this, the beneficiary will have to go to his nearest e-Mitra center and fill the online form. Along with the form, the child's school admission certificate and an affidavit that the parents have two children will have to be attached.
Fourth, fifth and sixth installment – For these installments also the applicant will have to go to e-Mitra center, where the application will be done through online process where they will also have to attach the certificate of admission in the school. The sixth installment is available after 12th pass, for which it is mandatory to upload the result of the child's final examination along with the form.
