Similarly, Chhattisgarh state Chief Minister Raman Singh has planned to provide financial assistance for the marriage of daughters of poor families, and the state government will also arrange their marriages. Recently, the Chief Minister participated in a mass marriage program in Raipur related to this scheme, in which he blessed 119 couples. This program was jointly organized by the Women and Child Development Department of the State Government and Rajput Selfless Service Association.
Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana 2023 New Update :-
A few years ago, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had launched a scheme to take the responsibility of marriage of daughters of poor families of the state, the name of this scheme is Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana. Under this scheme, till now an amount of Rs 25 thousand was given to the beneficiaries, but now it has been doubled. Yes, now under this scheme an amount of Rs 50 thousand will be given by the government for the marriage of daughters. A provision of Rs 38 crore has been earmarked for this scheme in this year's budget session.

Under the Chief Minister Kanyadaan Marriage Scheme, earlier a total financial assistance of Rs 15,000 was given for the marriage of daughters of poor families. But now the new Congress government of Chhattisgarh presented its first budget 2019-20, in which Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has increased the amount given under the Chief Minister Kanyadaan Vivah Yojana from Rs 15 thousand to Rs 25 thousand, due to which the daughters of poor families can get married. It can be done without any financial problems. The government also organizes mass marriages under the scheme.

Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana Eligibility :-
Residential Eligibility:- This scheme has been implemented to benefit the daughters of poor families of Chhattisgarh. Therefore it is mandatory for them to be residents of this place.
Age Eligibility:- Only those daughters, whose age is 18 years or above, will be able to avail the benefit of this scheme. It is most important for the beneficiary to meet this qualification.
Only for 2 girls:- Only 2 daughters from a family are allowed to apply in this scheme. If there are more than 2, 3 or 4 daughters then it is not allowed for everyone to apply for it.
For those below the poverty line:- This scheme is only for those families who live below the poverty line.
Income Eligibility: – In this scheme, the annual income of the head of the family i.e. the parents of the applicant should be below the poverty line i.e. less than Rs 1 lakh, only then they will be eligible for it.

Residential Certificate:- Before applying under this scheme, it is necessary for the daughters of Chhattisgarh to give proof of being a resident of Chhattisgarh, that they are residents of Chhattisgarh only.
Proof of age:- This scheme is meant to provide benefits to girls aged 18 years or above, hence for this they will have to provide proof of their age, for this they can submit a copy of their birth certificate or school marksheet. In which the date of birth is mentioned.
BPL Card:- Poor families taking advantage of this scheme are also required to submit a copy of their BPL card. Which will prove that they belong to a family below the poverty line.
Income Certificate:- The head of the family will have to provide his income certificate to prove that his annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh.
