There are many people from economically weaker sections in India who need support. Especially when they are suffering from some serious illness. Their conditions are not such that they can get treatment for their disease, due to which the death rate of such people is also increasing. But Himachal Pradesh government has started a scheme to support such people and help them financially, that scheme is 'Himachal Pradesh Sahara Yojana'. Under this scheme, some financial assistance is being provided every month to the people of economically weaker section for the treatment of their diseases. The information about when and with what features this scheme has been started is as follows.

Assistance to poor and helpless people: - This scheme was launched to provide support to such people of the state who are poor and helpless, they are so short of money that they are not able to even get treatment for their serious illness. Has gone.
Financial assistance:- A provision of giving Rs 2,000 per month to the economically weak person of the state for his illness is being made in this scheme.
Other assistance:- In this scheme, the Himachal Pradesh state government is not only providing financial assistance to the beneficiaries, but under this, the beneficiaries are also going to be provided free treatment facilities in the government hospitals of the state. Till now this facility was provided in the state under health schemes like Ayushman Bharat and Himcare. And now it is going to be given under this scheme also.
Diseases included in the scheme: - Under this scheme, people belonging to poor and weaker section are suffering from Parkinson's, malignant cancer, paralysis, muscular dystrophy, hemophilia, thalassemia, some kidney disease or any other similar disease due to which the person is severely disabled. Or become crippled, suffer from. So it has been decided to provide benefits under this scheme to the beneficiaries suffering from various such dangerous diseases.
Beneficiaries in the first phase:- Provision has been made to implement this scheme on the basis of some phases. In its first phase, benefits will be provided to at least 6,000 patients who are victims of these serious diseases.
Total institutions in the first phase:- In the first phase of this scheme, 12 institutions of the state have been included, in which the name of the most famous hospital of the state 'Indira Gandhi Health Institute and Hospital' is also included. Along with this, some district hospitals of the state have also been added to it. Health services will be provided to the beneficiaries in all these institutions and hospitals.
Online Monitoring:- Along with this, provision for online monitoring of referring patients receiving benefits has also been made in this scheme.
Mobile Diagnostic Van:- Apart from this, mobile diagnostic van is also being deployed in the state for the treatment of diseases like breast and surgical cancer. This mobile van will work in collaboration with government medical colleges to prevent these diseases.
People suffering from HIV/AIDS:- People who are suffering from HIV/AIDS, their number in the state is around 4,200, they will be given an additional benefit of Rs 1,500 per month by the government.
Funded by the State Government:- The entire expenditure of financial assistance in this scheme i.e. 100% expenditure is to be borne by the State Government. And the amount given in this can be deposited in the bank account of the beneficiaries.
Eligibility Criteria in Himachal Pradesh Sahara Scheme:-
Resident of Himachal Pradesh:- Those who are to be given benefits under this scheme should be originally residents of Himachal Pradesh, one of the coldest states of India.
Economically weak: - These are the people who belong to such a section of the society, which are very weak financially and also fall below the poverty line. Only they will be able to get financial assistance and treatment facilities under this scheme.
Income Limit:- Members of such family who are victims of the disease, and the total income of their entire family in the entire year is Rs 4 lakh or less. They will be included in this scheme.
Persons with diagnosis:- If persons who are on diagnosis are also included in this scheme, but they are required to provide proof of the same.

Permanent Certificate:- It is mandatory for the beneficiaries to show permanent residence certificate i.e. domicile certificate to prove their permanent residence.
Aadhar Card or Identity Card:- While applying for any scheme, identification of the beneficiary is very important. Therefore, those applicants will also need some identity proof like Aadhar Card for their identity.
Record of Treatment:- To avail the benefits of the scheme, it is also necessary for the beneficiary patients joining to show the record of their illness.
Birth Certificate:- Birth certificate is necessary for the application of this scheme because it will prove how old the person is, and also for how many years he has been suffering from that disease.
Income Certificate:- Since in this scheme, financial assistance is being given to the people belonging to very weak areas, hence they will have to attach their income certificate in the form.
Bank Details:- The financial amount to be provided in this scheme will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary by the state government. Therefore, they will also have to provide some information related to their bank account.
Passport size photo:- It is necessary to put a passport size photo in the application form, so the applicant must keep one of his/her passport size photo with you because you will need it while filling the application form of this scheme.
How to Apply in Himachal Pradesh Sahara Scheme:-
In this health scheme launched by the Himachal Pradesh state government, the facility to apply for the beneficiaries has been kept offline. Let us tell you that you do not need to go anywhere to apply for this scheme. Actually, ASHA Workers and Anganwadi Workers have been appointed for this scheme. Whose job will be to go door-to-door in their area to identify the beneficiaries of this scheme, and motivate them to be a part of this scheme. Besides, it will also be their job to help the beneficiaries fill the application form of this scheme by getting it from the office of the nearest District Medical Officer. Along with this, there is a provision to run some awareness campaigns so that more and more people can participate in it and get the benefits of this scheme. In return, they will be provided an incentive amount of Rs 200 per person by the state government. And in this way the application of the beneficiaries in this scheme will also be completed.
The government of Himachal Pradesh has started this scheme to help the poor people of the state suffering from the deadly disease. And under this, the government wants to support them, so that they can fight these diseases and remain healthy.
