In the post lockdown situation Telengana state government has come up with a scheme for the people from backward classes of the state. The name of the scheme is Telangana CM Dalit Empowerment Scheme 2021. It has been launched by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The scheme will improve the life and that is the reason the scheme will provide financial assistance to the beneficiaries. Objective of the scheme

The scheme is exclusively made for people of marginal classes of Telengana. The discussed scheme is aimed at uplifting the livelihood of the people.

Telengana govt. has earmarked a provision of 1,000 crore rupees for the particular scheme.

Announcement of the scheme-

While announcing the empowering scheme the Chief Minister of the state laid foundation stone for 13 irrigation schemes that will be done on Krishna River. And the budget for the schemes is 3000 crore rupees.

Strengthening local bodies-

While launching the scheme the Chief Minister has directed to strengthen the local bodies and for that 186 crore rupees have been allotted to cover all the municipalities in the state.

Launching new campaign-

As the election is approaching so the state government is also launching Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

Application for TS Food Security Card-

During the same time state government also came up with TS Food Security Card application so that people do not find it difficult to survive after lockdown.

  • Assistance to the farmers- The state government also assisting the farmers by providing 10,000 rupees per acre as per the Rythu Bandhu scheme.

Backward class-

The benefits of the scheme is only for the people who belong to marginal classes like SC/ST.
