Eligibility Criteria

• The scholarship is meant for only those candidates who are permanent residents of Kerala. Thus non – residents of Kerela is not eligible for this scholarship. 
• There is no income limitation for candidates belonging to SC and OECs,
• However, there is an income limit for candidates belonging to the OBC category – The income limit is INR 1 Lakh per annum for +2 courses, Degree, PGs, and Professional courses.
• Also, for candidates belonging to other categories – The income limit is INR 1 Lakh for +2 courses, Degree, PG, and Professional courses.
• , and It is mandatory that the candidate must be pursuing a Degree, Diploma, Doctoral, Higher Secondary, Polytechnic, Post Graduate, Professional, and VHSE courses.
• The scheme is primarily meant for candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Other Eligible Communities (OECs), and other socially/economically backward communities.   
• Apart from the above eligibility criteria, the candidate must have taken admitted under merit and reservation quota
