Competitive Exams Under MAY

Here is the list of competitive examinations for which selected candidates are offered coaching under Chief Minister Abhyuday Yojana scheme-

• UPSC /UPPPSC Exams (Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, Interview) like IAS, IFS, State PCS,
• NEET (conducted by NTA)
• JEE (Mains) by NTA
• NDA by UPSC
• CDS by UPSC and other Military Services exams, Para Military recruitment exam / Central Police Force Recruitment exams, etc.
• SSC/ PO / SSC / TET/ B.Ed.  and other competitive exams

More competitive examinations will be added under the scheme in near future.  

Features of MAY  

• UP MAY provides a digital learning platform to meritorious competitive exam aspirants of the state.
• Virtual Learning classes are organized to provide guidance to the students at the state level
• Free guidance and training are offered by the officers working in various departments of the state government like IAS, PCS, IFS, IPS cadre, etc.
• Virtual classes are conducted at Divisional headquarters by content specialists
• Online Career Counselling sessions are organized
• Virtual guidance, interview, and doubt-clearing session are organized by state government officials at each Divisional headquarter.

Eligibility

Free coaching and other training benefits under this scheme are not offered to all the aspirants of the state. Check the basic eligibility conditions required for applying for the entrance test-

• Applicants should be prepared for a specific competent exam.
• Those who have qualified prelims of an exam are also eligible.
• Applications are open for all male and female aspirants.
• Aspirants should belong to Uttar Pradesh.
• They should be coming from a poor family. For this, they have to provide supporting documents such as ration cards, income certificates,s, etc.
• There is no provision for reservation on the basis of caste/ category.

How to Apply for UP Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana?

Applications are to be made only in online mode as no other option is available. Aspirants have to fill out the application forms on the official Abhyudaya portal launched by the state government for this scheme.

The application process is divided into four steps. These are-

• Selection of exam
• Filling of Application Form
• Verification of Account
• Getting confirmation from the authority

• Open the browser and search UP Mukhyamatri Abhyudaya Scheme.
• Click on the official link of the website i.e. (www.abhyuday.up.gov.in)
• Click on the Abhyudaya Logo given on the top left of the page.
• You can select a language at your convenience.
• Now, click on the “Registration” link.
• Select exam for the exam for which you are seeking free coaching from the various options available.
• The application form for enrollment in the examination will open. Fill in exam information, personal examination, High school, intermediate details, and graduate details. Agree to the declaration and click on Submit button.

The registration will be completed. All further confirmation-related notifications and updates will be sent to the registered mobile number and email.

Application Fee

The registration and application process for the scheme is free. The government does not charge any amount for registration.

The alert, active and sensitive Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has come up with the ‘Abhyudaya Yojana’ for promising poor students of different sections of the state. In fact, the scheme is for students who cannot go to cities to prepare for competitive examinations. Yogi government will provide competitive exam coaching for free through Abhyudaya Yojana, a govt scheme.

Abhyuday Yojana has been formally launched by CM Yogi Adityanath on 16 February 2021 at the event of Vasant Panchmi. More than 5 Lakh students have already applied UP CM Abhudaya Scheme application form for preparation for various competitive exams through the coaching in offline mode and online mode.

The Uttar Pradesh government has provided free coaching for students preparing for various competitive exams like Central Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC, State Public Service Commission i.e. UPPSC, Banking, and SSC. The Yogi’s UP government has launched the ‘Abhyudaya Yojana’ on the occasion of Vasant Panchami, the date dedicated to Saraswati, the mother goddess of education.

However, the application process for this started on 10 February itself. The special thing is that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has informed about the commencement of registration by tweeting. There has been a new enthusiasm among the students after this scheme’s announcement.

It is said that IAS, IPS, and PCS officers will also provide coaching to the students of the state for free in these coaching centers. Students will benefit more from their personal experiences. Under this UP Free Coaching Scheme, 500 students from every division of Uttar Pradesh, i.e. about 8000 students from a total of 16 mandals will be selected. Abhyudaya Coaching, which starts in a total of 16 divisions in the state, will prove to be a boon for such students who have talent but are left behind due to a lack of resources. Through this scheme of Yogi Adityanath’s government, students will be given high-level guidance for competitive exams and training before the exam.

For the implementation of this ambitious scheme of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a 6-member state-level committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Social Welfare. Apart from this, a 12-member Divisional Committee has also been formed under the chairmanship of various Mandalayuktas.

It is said that the state-level committee will call the coaching experts according to the need for content and reading material. At the same time, the committee will also work to prepare a teaching calendar, and prepare material related to various competitive examinations.

On 22 February 2021, Suresh Khanna, Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister made a big announcement while presenting the budget in the house. He said that tablets will be given to students under Abhyudaya Scheme. There will be no shortage of funds for the preparation of examinations under this scheme.
