Terms and Conditions of Haryana Khel Nursery Scheme

• High School and Senior Secondary Schools have also been included under Haryana Sports Nursery Scheme.
• No more than two nursery games shall be allotted in each school.
• The school should have a playground/court/and other sports facilities.
• Schools will have to conduct sports and physical fitness tests/sports tests for students in the age group of 8 to 19 years under the supervision of the District Sports and Youth Affairs Officer.
• Sports Nursery can be opened in the sports disciplines played in the entire tournament of Olympic Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, National Games, etc.
• In case of any violation by the Sports Department, the scholarship can be withdrawn.
• The nursery will be regularly inspected and monitored by DSYAO.
• It will also be ensured by DSYAO that the nursery is being run as per the terms and conditions and that funds are being spent as per the plan.
• Players have to keep themselves away from drugs and anti-social activities.
• The students have to attend the coaching level in the sports nursery for at least 22 days in a month to get the scholarship amount.
• Sports kits will be provided to all trainees.
• Regular attendance of players and coaches will be recorded by the school.
• 25 students will be selected on the basis of the examination.
• Apart from this, 25 students will be selected and placed on the waiting list.
• If any student leaves the nursery for any reason, the vacancy will be filled by a waiting list.
• If at any time the number of students falls below 20 the nursery will be closed.

Selection of coach and reimbursement of expenditure under Haryana Sports Nursery Scheme

• The coach will be selected by the school.
• The qualification of the selected coach will be checked by the school from the concerned DSYAO.
• It shall be the responsibility of DSYAO only to ensure that only qualified coaches are appointed by the school as per the qualifications mentioned in the terms and conditions.
• The school will be reimbursed ₹ 100000 per year for the expenditure on sports equipment and consumables.
• The procurement will be supervised by the Deputy Commissioner or his representative.
• The expenditure on sports equipment/consumables in the games approved by the school will be paid by DSYAO to the bank account of the school.
• This payment will be made after physical verification and verification of vouchers.
• After physical verification and verification of vouchers, an application will have to be submitted by the school in this regard, after which the payment will be made.
