Assistance to talented students for higher education:-
The main objective of starting this scheme is to provide financial assistance to those students who, despite being talented, are unable to complete competitive examinations due to lack of financial assistance.

Development of economically weaker students :-
Through this scheme, such students of all castes, whose economic condition is not like that of common people, can get their higher education and all their dreams can be fulfilled. The government wants to help such families and develop them.

Incentive for education :-
One of the main objectives of this scheme is to encourage all the boys and girls of the state for education. So that they get better opportunities for government or private jobs and can improve their future.

Name of the scheme :-
This scheme has been named ‘Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana’, after the former Indian judge, politician and social reformer Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. This is because Dr. Bhimrao ji always promoted education and when it came to the poor and backward classes, he was always ready to help them.

Arrangement of coaching fees:-
Under this scheme, coaching facilities are being provided to boys and girls according to their income. That is, those whose annual income is less than Rs 2 lakh, this facility will be given free of cost and if the annual income of a beneficiary's family is between Rs 2 to 6 lakh, then 75% of the total fees will be paid by the government whereas. 25% payment will have to be made by the beneficiaries themselves. With this, they will get better education without any hassle and they will be able to get jobs in government or private companies.

Additional Help :-
In this scheme, apart from the coaching fees, additional assistance of Rs 2500 is also being provided to the beneficiaries, which they can use for their books and other things.

Coaching facility :-
In this scheme, it has been drafted that the beneficiaries will be given free coaching facilities in some educational institutions selected by the government, so that they can perform better in competitive examinations. Even if the beneficiary does not pass the competitive exam in the first attempt, he/she will get a chance to take coaching for the second time. That means students can take competitive exams twice by getting free coaching training. But in the second time, 50% of the total fees will be given by the government for the beneficiaries with annual income of Rs 2 to 6 lakh.

Coaching Centers :-
In this scheme, 8 famous coaching institutes selected by the state government have been included in which this facility will be provided to the beneficiaries.

Competitive examinations :-
Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will be given training for IIT or similar competitive examinations like Engineering, Medical Pre and Mains, UPSC, Railways, Banking, SSC etc.

Total beneficiaries :-
The government has set a target to provide this facility to about 5,000 beneficiaries in this scheme, out of which about 4,000 beneficiaries are already included in this scheme.

Fee structure according to different courses:-
Till now the total benefit provided under this scheme to each beneficiary was Rs 40,000, now it has been increased, yes now it has increased to Rs 1.5 lakh. That is, in this scheme, beneficiaries will get assistance up to Rs 1.5 lakh for both preliminary and mains examinations of Civil Services or State Civil Services, whereas if the beneficiaries apply for engineering or medical courses, they will get assistance up to Rs 1 lakh. . There is a provision to provide assistance up to Rs 50,000 for bank related competitive examinations and Rs 25,000 for SSC exams. Also, this assistance was being given to them for minimum 4 months of coaching, which has now been increased to 12 months.

Eligibility Criteria in Delhi Free Coaching Scheme
Resident of Delhi :-
The beneficiaries in this scheme will be all those who are basically residents within the limits of Delhi.

Income Eligibility :-
It was written in the draft of this scheme that the total annual income of the beneficiary family should not exceed Rs 6 lakh, but now it has been increased to Rs 8 lakh and special facilities will be provided to those whose income is less than Rs 2 lakh. It has been said that their fees are completely free.

Caste Eligibility :-
Till now, Scheduled Castes, Tribes, Minorities and Disabled (SC/ST/EWS/OBC) people were included in this scheme, but now this facility will be provided to needy people of all castes.

Passed high school and higher secondary examination:-
Such boys and girls who have passed their high school and higher secondary education with good marks will get the benefit of this scheme.

Delhi school students :-
Such boys and girls who have studied from schools falling within Delhi limits have been included in this.

Attendance in coaching centers :-
Beneficiaries should have 100% attendance in the coaching centres. If they are absent for more than 15 days in each month, they will be dropped from the scheme.

Delhi Free Coaching Scheme Documents Required
Proof of address and identity:-
Beneficiaries will have to submit a copy of their resident certificate or ration card as proof of their being a native of Delhi. Along with this, it would be better if they also have documents like Aadhar Card for their own identity.

Caste Eligibility :-
Caste has also been given importance in this scheme, hence the beneficiaries will also have to give a copy of their caste certificate.

Marksheet of 10th and 12th:-
All the beneficiaries are also required to submit a copy of the marks list of the annual examination of both the classes to provide proof of passing their 10th and 12th class.

Documents related to school admission:-
Beneficiaries of any school in Delhi can join this scheme, hence they are required to submit copies of their school admission related documents like transfer certificate etc.

Documents related to coaching admission:-
In order for the beneficiaries to join this scheme and get the coaching facility, it is necessary that they also submit the documents related to admission in coaching, so that no fraud can take place.
