The Government of Haryana State has started a scheme named Old Age Samman Allowance Scheme. In this new scheme, the government has made a provision to provide allowance to the elderly citizens of the state. Earlier the amount of allowance given used to be Rs 2000 per month, but under this new scheme this amount has been increased to Rs 2250 per month.

Haryana Old Age Pension Scheme Eligibility :-
The benefit of this scheme can be availed only by those citizens who are natives or permanent residents of Haryana state and who have been issued domicile certificate by the state government authority.
Eligible candidates should belong to the senior citizen category and their age should be at least 60 years or more.
Along with this, to avail the benefit of this scheme, the annual income of the candidate's family should not be more than Rs 2 lakh.
