The Disability Empowerment Department of the Uttar Pradesh Government has started the online application process for the Divyangjan Shaadi Vivah Protsahan Yojana (UP Divyangjan Shadi Vivaah Protsahan Puraskar Yojana) for the year 2019-20. Under this government scheme (UP Divyangjan Shadi Vivaah Protsahan Puraskar Yojana), the Divyang couple will be given a grant of 35 thousand rupees by the Yogi government. The PwD will be eligible under the scheme if any of the Marriage Incentive Scheme 2019 (Disabled (Disabled) Shaadi Prasar Yojana) if the couple is physically or mentally handicapped. District Disability Empowerment Officer Shiv Singh said that online registrations (online registration for UP Divyangjan Shoudi Vivah Pramodhan Yojana) are being accepted on the divyangjan.upsdc.gov.in portal.

Under the UP Divyangjan Shaadi Vivah Protsahan Yojana 2019 (Divyang, Handicapped Shad Protsahan Yojana), a disabled couple will get a grant of Rs 15,000 in the case of disabled youth and Rs 20 thousand in the case of a disabled girl. With this, if both are disabled, a total grant of Rs 35,000 will be given. The UP Disabled Marriage Incentive Scheme will be sent directly to their bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)

Under the Divyangjan Shaadi Vivah Protsahan Yojana 2021, financial assistance will be provided by the state government to the disabled couples of Uttar Pradesh for marriage. This scheme has been launched by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Aditya Nath. Under this UP Divyang Shadi Yojana 2021, 15 thousand rupees (15 thousand rupees to a young man in case of handicap of a disabled couple) will be provided to the youth from a disabled couple of the state. And if the handicap of the girl is disabled, the girl will be provided financial assistance of 20 thousand rupees (Rs. 20 thousand) from the government.

Under this scheme, both handicapped and disabled couples, then they will be provided financial assistance of Rs 35,000 in total. In Handicapped Vivah Protsahan Yojana 2021 if any one of the couples is physically or mentally handicapped. He will also be eligible under this scheme. Under the UP Divyang Shadi Yojana 2021, the amount given by the government to the disabled youth and girls for marriage will be directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT. For this, it is mandatory for the beneficiary to have his own bank account and the bank account should be linked with the Aadhar card.
