What are the objectives and benefits of Chief Minister Sukanya Yojana?:-

• The main objective of the scheme is to provide proper nutrition to women keeping in mind their health, which will increase the increasing infant mortality rate in the state. The government has been working towards this for the last 4 years but it will still take time to achieve the target.
• One of the objectives of Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana is that with the help of the government, girls should not be considered a burden on the family and hence they should not get married at an early age but should be given proper upbringing.
• Along with the government, UNICEF and social organizations are also contributing to this work. Gram Panchayat will also be included in this so that awareness can be increased.
• Whatever money is to be given through Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana, it will be deposited directly into the bank account of the girl or guardian.
• Under the scheme, girls from birth to  18  years of age  will be given money by the government, which will be delivered to them in different phases. The government will provide financial assistance for the girl's upbringing, her primary education, secondary education etc.
• The government believes that 35 lakh families will benefit under this scheme.
• There are five districts of the state where most of the daughters are married before the age of 18, hence more attention will be given to those districts. The names of those districts are Deoghar, Godda, Koderma, Giridih and Palamu.

What are the eligibility criteria of Chief Minister Sukanya Yojana?:-

• Only those families whose names are in the SECC-2011 list will be eligible for the scheme, that is, daughters of only those families will get the benefit. Till now, about 25 lakh families can take benefit of this scheme through this census.

1. Apart from this, those families who have Antyodaya Ration Card can also take benefits by joining this scheme and 10 lakh families are expected to join through this.
2. The scheme has been started for the girl child, hence the benefit of this scheme can be availed immediately after birth, at the age of above 18, its benefit will be available only if the daughter is virgin for 20 years. Therefore, one should register under the scheme only after the birth of the daughter.
3. The incentive amount received under Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana will be deposited directly into the account, hence it is necessary that the daughter's parents have a bank account, if they do not have an account, you will not get the benefit of the scheme.
4. You will get money under the DBT facility under the scheme, hence it is mandatory for your account to be linked to Aadhaar.
5. Only those girls who are residents of Jharkhand state will be considered. It is not possible to avail the benefits of this scheme outside the state. For this you must have proper proof that you are a resident of Jharkhand.

What are the documents required under Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana?:-

• To avail the benefits of the scheme, it is necessary that you have a resident certificate  . If not then you will not get any benefit.
•  It is also necessary to have documents related to the birth of the daughter i.e. birth certificate and Aadhar card , otherwise enrollment in the scheme will not be possible.
• A copy of the bank book is also necessary because the money will be deposited in the account, hence it is important to provide this information.
• It is mandatory to educate the girl child, only then will she get benefits at various stages, hence you will also have to provide proof that your daughter goes to school. It will be necessary to provide  school certificate .

How to get application form or registration done for Chief Minister Sukanya Yojana?:-

This is a scheme started at the state level. Therefore, information related to enrollment under this will be given in the online portal of the state. Or Anganwadi members will also get information related to this. But this scheme will start working in the state in 2019, hence information related to the application has not been given yet. As soon as you subscribe to our site, registration information will be written in it.

Women have a special place in the Central schemes also, hence  the Central Government  keeps releasing many schemes for women . Many schemes also work in the same direction at the state level, such as  MP's Ladli Lakshmi Yojana  and  Bihar Kanya Uttha Yojana  , which are similar to this scheme of Jharkhand.

 Jharkhand government has also announced that it will stop the already running Ladli Lakshmi Yojana and  Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana and will give all the benefits under the Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana only.
