Eligibility Criteria in Uttar Pradesh Meritorious Student Award Scheme (UP Medhavi Chhatra Puraskar Yojana Eligibility Criteria) :-
Residents of Uttar Pradesh:- In this scheme, children of workers living in Uttar Pradesh have been considered eligible to get benefits. Apart from this, no other student is involved in this.
Beneficiaries of other schemes of the government:- Those students who are taking benefit of any other scheme run by the Central or State Government are not the beneficiaries of this scheme.
Children of labor families: - Under this scheme, assistance is being provided to the children of those laborers who are engaged in labor work or construction work etc.

Documents required to apply for Uttar Pradesh Meritorious Student Award Scheme (UP h Medhavi Chhatra Puraskar Yojana Required Documents) :-
Residential Certificate:- Students residing in Uttar Pradesh will have to provide their residential proof while applying for this scheme, so that it can be ensured that they are residents of Uttar Pradesh only.
Labor Card:- Since benefits under this scheme are to be provided to the children of workers registered in the Labor Department, it is necessary for the applicants to have their labor card at the time of applying.
Marksheet:- In this scheme, different scholarships are being provided to children of different classes, therefore, while applying, it is necessary for the students to submit the photocopy of the marksheet of the class in which they have recently passed.
Photograph: – Applicants are also required to attach a photograph of themselves in the application form which is attested by the Principal of their school or college or university.
Affidavit: – While applying for this scheme, it is necessary to see that the student is not getting the benefit of any other scheme given by the government, hence it is necessary for them to submit an affidavit for the same.
Receipt of full deposit of fees: – While applying for this scheme, it is necessary for the applicants to show the receipt to show that the full fees have been deposited in their school or college.

Process to apply for Uttar Pradesh Meritorious Student Award Scheme (Uttar Pradesh Medhavi Chhatra Puraskar Yojana Application Process)
First of all, you have to get the application form of this scheme, which you will get from your nearest District Labor Department office or Tehsildar office of Tehsil or Block office of the block. You will start receiving this form 3 months after you pass the exam. This form must be attested by your Principal. The period for filling the application form was fixed from 1st July to 30th December. Application under this scheme can be made up to 1 year after passing any class as per the information given above.
Once you receive the application form, fill it up, attach all the necessary documents given above and get it attested by your principal. Let us tell you that applicants who have passed class 5th to 8th from recognized schools will also have to take an acceptance letter from their District Basic Education Officer. And this will also have to be attached with the form.
After the application form is filled, it has to be submitted to the same office from where it was received.
After the application form is submitted, it will be verified in all the concerned offices. After this, information about whether it has been accepted or rejected will be given to the applicants.
If their application form is accepted then the prescribed amount of assistance given under the scheme will be deposited in the bank account of their parents or their own. And in this way the benefits of this scheme will reach them.
