There are many types of diseases, some serious and some common. Thousands of people die every day due to some serious diseases like TB etc. The main reason for this is that today there are many medicines available to fight TB, but medicines alone do not fight this disease but they support nutritious foods. If patients do not eat well, they may never recover. And ignoring this becomes the cause of death. However, a scheme called 'Nikshaya Poshan Yojana' has been brought by the Government of India, so that this disease can be completely eradicated from India. For this, financial assistance is being provided to TB patients by the Central Government.

Better platform for TB patients:-
Through this scheme, a better platform has been developed for the patients suffering from TB disease.
Keeping records of TB patients:-
All the important data of patients enrolled under this scheme is being monitored by the Central Government and the concerned department.
financial help :-
TB patients joining this scheme are being provided financial assistance of Rs 500 per month by the government. And this amount continues to be provided to them every month until they become completely well.
Total beneficiaries :-
About 13 lakh TB patients are able to take advantage of this scheme. This figure may increase further also.
Distribution of amount :-
Financial assistance was being provided to all the beneficiaries of this scheme through Direct Benefit Transfer mode in their own active bank account, which was linked to Aadhaar card. But recently, while doing some improvement work in this scheme, new guidelines have been mentioned that now the payment system in this scheme will be through Public Financial Management System i.e. PMFS.
Other amendments :-
If a patient does not have a bank account in his own name, then in such a situation he can receive money by using the account number of another person. But for that it is also necessary to give a consent letter certified by the beneficiary himself. However, if no one in his family has an account then a new account can be opened for him. Along with this, the official portal of this scheme is being made more secure and organized, so that patients can be monitored at every level.

This scheme has been implemented under a special medical scheme to help TB patients. Which comes under the National Health Mission.
Eligibility Criteria in Nikshay Poshan Yojana :-
For TB patients:-
In this scheme, such patients who are suffering from dangerous diseases like TB have been allowed to enroll in it.
Patients registered on Nikshay portal:-
Such patients whose names are enrolled on the official Nikshay portal are being provided financial assistance under this scheme by the Central Government.
Nikshay Poshan Yojana Required Documents :-
Doctor's certificate:-
In this scheme, the beneficiaries may be suffering from TB disease, hence it is mandatory for them to submit the necessary medical certificate certified by the doctor. This document will support patients to make claims.
Application Form :-
Apart from this, applicants will also have to submit their enrollment form in which all the information of the patient will be given. This will help the concerned officer and health care center to maintain the records of the patient.
How to enroll in Nikshay Nutrition Scheme? (How to Enroll in Nikshay Poshan Yojana?) :-
To avail the benefits of the scheme, the beneficiary patients of this scheme should first go to the Nikshay Yojana portal, and from there get the online form of this scheme, fill it and submit it, it will contain all the necessary information of the applicant. After this you save your nomination slip. In this way you will be enrolled in Nikshay Nutrition Scheme.
If you want to enroll offline in this scheme, then for this you can go to any government and private health care center participating in it and fill the enrollment form.
Nikshay Poshan Yojana Health Care Center How to enroll? (How Health Care Centers can Apply Under Nikshay Poshan Yojana?) :-
If any health care centers want to participate in this scheme and provide services to the patients. So to join this scheme they will have to enroll as per the following procedure.
First of all, you have to register in the name of the health care centers willing to join this scheme. If you are already registered in it then you can log in directly.
To register in this, after reaching this portal, click on 'New Health Facility Registration', and select all the details asked like what type of health care center you have, which state, district, and block it belongs to, etc.
As soon as you select all the information, an option will open to fill some more information about your health care center. After filling all that, click on the 'Continue' button.
After this, a unique ID code will be displayed on your screen, keep it safe and then only through this you will log in to this portal.
Approval of Health Care Center Registration :-
After any health care center is enrolled in this scheme, they do not join this scheme immediately, they have to wait for some time, because after the enrollment, the process of approval of the health care center starts by the higher officials. Which are as follows –
When the enrollment process of the health care center is completed, then they have to wait for the approval from their respective district officer. After all the information about you and your health care center is checked by the officer, they give you confirmation.
This confirmation information is sent to you through SMS.
Only after this SMS reaches you, the approval of your health care center is completed, and after this you can start the task of obtaining the data of TB patients.
Notification Process after Patient’s Registration :-
After registering themselves, all eligible patients have to go to the TB treatment center and give all their information, which is stored in their database.
After this, it is checked whether the information given by the patient and the patient's information saved in the database are the same. If correct, the health care center informs the concerned patient about it.
