Pilot Project :-
This scheme was started in 4 states namely Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and Maharashtra and Gujarat. After this, it has been implemented in some other states also in the beginning of the year 2020. Like Haryana, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, Tripura etc. Now it has been approved to be implemented in all the states of the country from June 1, 2020.
New ration card :-
Under this scheme, all the information about the beneficiary and his family will be given in the ration card. However, for this it will be necessary for people to link their Aadhaar number with the ration card.
