• By starting this scheme, the government wants to provide relief from the heat to the poor who are facing the heat of summer. Because the heat may increase further in the coming time.

• Haryana Government will provide 1.05 lakh ACs to the poor living in Haryana. So that he too can get relief from this heat.

• Those people will be given a discount of up to 59% on MRP from the company from which the AC will be purchased. People will now enjoy AC air at the cost of a fan and get relief from the heat.

• Many companies have been included in this scheme like Deccan, Blue Star and Voltas etc. companies have been contacted.
• Last date :-
• The last date of this scheme has been kept as 24th August. Whoever is interested can go and buy AC for himself before this.
• New AC in place of old AC:-
• Haryana government has prepared a way for this also. Under which you can replace your old AC with a new AC. Due to which they will also get huge discount and subsidy will also be given by Haryana Government on the purchase of AC.

• Citizens of Haryana applying for this scheme will have to first check their eligibility.
• The person applying should be a resident of Haryana.
• The applicant for this scheme should have the prescribed amount to buy AC.
• If you want to replace the old AC then you will have to bring that AC.
• AC documents will have to be submitted to Haryana Demand Side Management.
