• Age Limit:- The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the girl's family during her marriage after she attains the age of 18 years.

• In case of twins: – In this scheme, registration of 2 girls who are born at the same time is allowed. And if their parents have a girl before these 2 twin girls, then that family will be allowed to register 3 girls.
• In case of triplets: – Under this scheme, 2 girls from one family have been allowed to get benefits. If any applicant has triplet girls then they will be given special permission. But for them it is necessary for all three children to be girls.
• Girls born after April 1, 2007: – Girls born after a particular date will be included in this scheme.
• Being a part of family planning: – It is most mandatory to take the help of family planning in the eligibility of this scheme, when they are registering the second daughter.
• Before the girl turns 1 year old:- It would be best if the girl child is registered for this scheme before she turns 1 year old. During this period, all the documents of the girl child should be provided to the Anganwadi centres.
• Regular visitors to Anganwadi centres: – To avail the benefits of this scheme, parents of girl children will have to visit Anganwadi centers on a regular basis.
