UP Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Yojana:- A new scheme has been started by the Uttar Pradesh government to provide education to the children of poor construction workers to provide golden opportunities to the workers. UP Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Yojana 2023:-
Atal Residential School Scheme has been started by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Through this scheme, all the facilities related to education will be provided to the children of workers. Which is provided to the students of Jawahar Lal Navodaya Vidyalaya. To provide quality education to the children of all workers, the state government will provide free education up to primary, junior, high school and secondary. Through this scheme, children of registered workers whose age is between 6 to 14 years will be given admission in residential schools.
Through UP Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Yojana, all those poor children who are not able to take admission in school due to weak financial condition of their parents will get the opportunity to study. With the operation of the scheme, every child of the state will be able to get education. This scheme is being operated by the Uttar Pradesh government in 18 districts. So that the children of workers can be made strong and self-reliant and their standard of living can also be improved.

The main objective of starting UP Atal Residential School Scheme is to provide the benefit of free education to the children of workers. Because laborers working in non-government sectors are not able to enroll their children in school due to their weak financial condition. Keeping this in mind, residential schools have been started to protect the right to education of such children. Through this, free education will be provided to children of construction workers aged between 6 to 14 years. Apart from this, other facilities will also be provided. So that the children of the workers can become strong and self-reliant, their standard of living will also improve.

Outline of implementation of Atal Residential School Scheme Uttar Pradesh:-
Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Yojana will be operated through Mahila Samakhya, non-government and voluntary organizations.
Through this scheme, education up to class 5 will be provided in the form of a 2-year bridge course.
Education from class 6 to class 8 will be conducted on a 3-year basis under the Atal Residential School Scheme.
Under the Atal Residential School Scheme, the state labor department will prepare a scheme for studies from class 8 onwards and inform it to the schools.

12 to 15 acres of land will be allotted by the state government for the construction of school and hostel.
