The main objective of the scheme is the welfare and empowerment of women of Uttar Pradesh. Under the scheme, women of the state will be motivated to stand on their own feet and work daily, so that women can be uplifted. This scheme will improve the lives of women and they will become self-reliant by moving forward in the industrial sector.
Features of UP Mahila Samarthya Yojana Features :-
UP Mahila Samarth Yojana has been started by Women and Child Development of Uttar Pradesh for the empowerment of women.
Under the scheme, two committees have been formed, one at the district level and the other at the state level.
Under the scheme, a committee will be formed which will motivate the women of the state for employment.
Under the scheme, a budget of Rs 100 crore has been fixed by the state government.
Under the scheme, those who are interested in new work will also be given special training for it.
Through this scheme, there will be an increase in women in the industrial sector.
Under the scheme, 200 development blocks are being developed for women in the first phase.
At these centres, women will be given various types of training like technical research development, packaging laboring etc.
UP Mahila Samarthya Yojana Eligibility :-
The benefit of UP Mahila Samriddhi Yojana will be available only to women living permanently in Uttar Pradesh, women from other states cannot avail the benefit of this scheme.
Only sex female applicants will get the benefit of the scheme.
