Benefits And Features Of Duare Sarkar Camps

• The government of West Bengal organizes Duare Sarkar camp in every district of the state

Technical Aspects Of Duare Sarkar Portal

Implementation of Duare Sarkar Camps

• A state-level Apex committee has been set up by the state government under the chairmanship of the chief secretary and a separate task force for Kolkata and the remaining parts of the state in order to implement Duare sarkar camps.
• The chief secretary HK Dwivedi will be the head.
• Secretaries of other departments are also in the apex committee.
• The user will register at all the hierarchical levels for OTP-based access to the portal.
• Users will be able to enter the Duare Sarkar camp schedule and locations.
• All the beneficiaries who will visit the camp which includes footfall and schemes will be registered on the portal.
• For the purpose of data sharing, integration of departmental schemes will be done.
• After that services will be delivered to the doorstep of the beneficiary.
• In order to implement these camps, a robust IT system has been developed for scheduling camps with the locations which include capturing GPS details.
• The camps are scheduled for a very short period of time in order to disseminate information immediately.
• The real-time data has captured the registration of visitors who have visited the camp.
• This data will help in planning the infrastructure of the camp and allocation of resources so that the demand and supply of services can be managed.
• With the help of the facility of online registration the volume of demand for services can be anticipated.
• The IT system has been used to report the key performance.

As you all may be aware that the West Bengal government is going to start to dare Sarkar camps on 15th February 2022. This time the government is going to host a disability camp for catering the services to the specially-abled person. This program will continue till 15 March 2022. This time through these camps six new facilities will be provided to the beneficiaries. The state chief secretary HK Dwivedi has held a video conference with the concerned officials of the state government and district magistrate in order to take stock of the preparation of the Dwarfs Sarkar Camp. The special camps for the specially-abled person will be held for the first time.

This program was scheduled to commence on 2nd January 2022 but due to the pandemic, it was postponed. These camps will be held across 144 wards. In Kolkata, the program was launched by Mayor Firhad Hakim in the presence of KMC chairperson and Trinamool MP Mala Roy at the Pratapaditya road in south Kolkata.

Civic officials have tried to resolve the problems of citizens on several civic issues like shortage of water, street lights shortage, etc. At paray Samadhan camping Tollygunge officials have registered 50 complaints related to water scarcity, lack of street lighting, bad roads, and encroachment of pavements. Other than that officers have also registered problems regarding anomalies in Aadhar or voter cards at the camp. Around 5702 camps were held on 15th February 2022. The government has allocated a budget of Rs 12900 crore for the implementation of this scheme. Around 1.5 crore enrollments have been received through these camps under the Lakshmi Bhandar scheme. Other than that officials are also helping citizens to apply under various government schemes.

The main objective of the Duare Sarkar camp is to provide benefits of various schemes launched by the state government to the beneficiaries. There are many citizens throughout the state who are not able to apply under various schemes launched by the government due to their lack of awareness or for lack of facilities available in their district. So for all those people, the government of West Bengal is organizing the Duare Sarkar Camps in every district of the state. Through these camps, the services will deliver at the doorsteps of the citizens. Now all the eligible beneficiaries will be able to get benefits from various schemes of the government.

As you all know that the government of West Bengal is organizing Duare Sarkar camps. So that beneficiaries can apply under various schemes launched by the government of West Bengal. These camps will organize from 16th August 2021 to 15 September 2021. The government has set up these camps for the first time in 2020 for the 13 welfare schemes. This year the government has launched 5 more schemes. Now citizens of West Bengal can take benefit of a total of 18 schemes at 17107 sarkar camps. All the eligible applicants will get benefits at the camp from 24 September to 30th September. During the first phase total of 32830 camps had organized in December 2020. The camps cannot be organized in those areas that are flooded due to rain. The government is going to organize camps in the flooded areas later on.

This year the most sought-after scheme will be Lakshmi Bhandar. Through this scheme monthly pension of Rs 500 has been offered to general caste women and Rs 1000 to SC/ST women. Nearly 1.6 crore beneficiaries will register themselves under the Lakshmi Bhandar scheme. Other than the Lakshmi Bhandar scheme student credit card, free of cost social security scheme, mutation and rectification of land record, opening a bank account, and registration under the new Krishak Bandhu scheme will also be done through dare sarkar camps. It is estimated that this year, last year’s total footfall of 2.75 crores will be surpassed. Last year around 1.77 crore applications has submitted through these camps. This year the government of West Bengal is expecting 1.60 applications under the Lakshmi Bhandar Scheme alone. So the government is expecting that this year’s outreach program will be more successful.

As you all may be aware that the government of West Bengal is organizing sarkar camps from 16th August 2021 to 15th September 2021. On the first day of this mega outreach project, 857 camps were organized across various districts of the state. Through this scheme, various types of crucial government services will be delivered to the doorstep of the citizens of West Bengal. These outreach camps will be organized at the level of gram Panchayat and the Municipal ward level. The officials who are present in the camps are also helping the beneficiaries to fill out the forms in order to get the benefit of various schemes offered by the State Government.

On the first day of Duare Sarkar camps, 70% of the total applications received were under the Lakshmi Bhandar scheme. More than 15 lakh applicants have applied under this scheme through these camps. A total of 883 camps were organized throughout the state on the first day of the second phase of the Duare Sarkar camps. The remaining 30% of applications were received for other schemes which include student credit card, Krishak Bandhu, Bina Muley Samajik Suraksha, correction in minor errors in land records, and the opening of a new bank account, Swasthya Sathi l, Kanyashree, Rupashree Khadya Sathi, etc. Through the Lakshmi Bhandar scheme the female member of the general caste family will get Rs 500 per month and women members of the SC/ST family will get Rs 1000 per month. The government has also set up dedicated counters at the camps for the Lakshmi Bhandar scheme

For the holistic camp management and integrated management information system, a portal has been set up by the government of West Bengal which has seamless services so that citizens can get information about Duare Sarkar camps. Real-time uploading, monitoring, and accurate forecasting can be ensured through the portal. Other than that mobile apps have also been launched and all the locations of the camps are geotagged. These facilities reduced service delivery time. This camp ensures Service delivery from 8 departments of the government of West Bengal. The location of camps will update through official websites and multiple social media platforms. On the web, #duaresarkar has over 190000 mentions and a reach of over 170 million people

Through the Khadya Sathi scheme beneficiaries can take rations at subsidized prices. Those people who come under below poverty line criteria and other economically weaker section criteria can take benefit from this scheme. More than 4 crore people of West Bengal will benefit from this scheme. Under this scheme, citizens can avail of 5 kg of food grains at a price of Rs 2 per kg per person.

Sikshashree scholarship scheme provides financial assistance to scheduled caste category students who are studying in class from 5th to 8th. Through this scheme, two types of assistance are provided which are assistance in the form of book grants and assistance in the form of maintenance grants. With the help of this scheme, the participation at the pre Matric stages of the schedule category students can be improved and the incidence of dropout especially in the case of girls can be reduced

Jai Johar scheme has been launched for scheduled tribe citizens of West Bengal. Through this scheme financial incentives are provided to the beneficiaries. These financial incentives include a Rs 1000 pension per month. In order to get the benefit of this scheme the beneficiary must produce a schedule tribe category certificate and the age of the applicant must be of at least 60 years

Topsoil Bandhu has been launched for scheduled caste category citizens of West Bengal. Through this scheme financial incentives are provided to the beneficiaries of the schemes. These financial incentives include a Rs 600 pension per month. The beneficiary requires to provide a schedule caste certificate in order to get the benefit of this scheme and the age of the beneficiary must be 60 years or more

Kanyashree scheme has been launched for the girl students of West Bengal. Through this scheme financial incentives are provided to the girls for their education. All those girls whose age is from 13 years to 18 years and who are enrolled in a class from 8th to 12th can take benefit from this scheme. The government provides financial assistance of Rs 750 per annum through this scheme. Other than that one time grant of Rs 25000 is also provided under this scheme when the girl turns 18 years of age.

Rupashree has launched in order to provide financial assistance to economically stressed families at the time of their daughter’s marriage. This one-time financial grant will be Rs 25000. Now the citizens of West Bengal are not required to borrow money at higher rates as the government of West Bengal is going to provide financial assistance at the time of marriage

The government of West Bengal has launched the Krishak Bandhu scheme in order to provide financial assistance to the farmers. This financial assistance will be Rs 4000 per annum. Other than that death benefits are also provided under this scheme. If a farmer dies before the age of 60 years then the family of the farmer will get a death benefit of Rs 2 lakh

The government of West Bengal has launched Manabik Scheme for physically challenged citizens. Under this scheme, a monthly pension of Rs 1,000 will provide to all eligible beneficiaries. In order to get the benefit of this scheme the disability percentage of the beneficiary should be 50% or more and the income of the family of the beneficiary should be Rs 100000 or less
