In the first phase of this scheme 15715 schools are covered. The Chief Minister has also instructed the officials to focus on the second phase of the Nadu Nedu program. Under the first phase of this program, the government has spent Rs 3650 crore and it is estimated that the government is going to spend Rs 4535 crore for the second phase which will cover 12663 schools.
The state government has sanctioned Rs 2700 crore so that each and every household gets tap drinking water in the three assembly constituencies of tamballapalle, madanapalle, and punganur. Other than that, the construction of reservoirs to tap the rainwater is in progress in the tamballapalle, punganur, and Aluvapalli areas. The government is also building overhead water tanks in every village in the above-mentioned constituencies.

Under the YSR Nada Nadu Program, the state Panchayat Raj Minister Peddireddy Ramchandra Reddy has inaugurated new school buildings which are built at the cost of 60.35 lakh at pedda upparapalli village in the Andhra Pradesh Chittoor district. This inauguration was done on 3rd April 2022.
