Bhamashah Digital Parivar Yojana 2023

Main features of the scheme:-

• Under Bhamashah Digital Parivar Yojana, free mobile phones will be given to all those poor people who come under BPL category. Rs 500 will be transferred to their accounts linked to Bhamashah in 2 installments. In the first installment they will get Rs 500 so that they can buy a phone, in the next installment they will again get Rs 500 so that they can get internet connectivity or get recharge done.
• With these free mobile phones, women will know about all the economic and non-economic schemes of the government.
• This scheme will also accelerate the Digital India campaign, this will also increase the transparency and speed of Digital India. With this, more and more government schemes and its benefits will be available to the citizens of the state.
• For this, many apps will also be launched, so that the benefits of government schemes can be availed with a single click.

first installment:-

• Under the Bhamashah scheme, the first installment amount of Rs 500 will be directly transferred to the account of the head woman of the family.
• The beneficiary will not have to submit any application form for this installment amount.
• Bhamashah Digital Parivar Yojana Camp will be organized by the district administration of various districts in the entire state.
• Various mobile phone manufacturers, dealers and telecom companies will participate in these camps and all of them will sell their respective smart phones and internet packages.
• The beneficiaries will be able to buy mobile phones from various companies coming to the camp and will also be able to get data connection.

second installment:-

• To receive the second installment of this scheme, people can download any app of the state government like Bhamashah Wallet, Rajasthan Sampark, Raj-Mail on their smart phones.
• All newly installed apps will have the feature of smartphone registration, in which after registration, the second installment of Rs 500 will be transferred to the beneficiary's account.
• For this, the registered mobile number should be in the name of one member of the family.

Timings of the scheme and other schemes related to it:-

• The state government will provide Wi-Fi facility in 5000 gram panchayats so that all the people of the state can connect with the outside world. This program will take place from 1st September to 30th September 2018 only.
• Earlier on August 29, 2018, the state government has also launched Bhamashah Wallet Mobile, so that digital payments can increase. Before this, the Chief Minister of the state has launched Abhay Command Center in Dausa, Sriganganagar, Bekar, Bhilwara, Karauli and Dholpur. The government has also provided these centers with the latest facilities like dial 100, traffic management, video surveillance and cyber forensics.
• The state government is also going to organize camps of “Jio Bhamashah Programme” in which further notifications related to it will be given. To promote the Digital Rajasthan campaign, the government is providing all the benefits of all the schemes under Bhamashah Scheme only.

Ministers' views on the announcement and other announcements in the program:-

Regarding the announcement of this scheme, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Arun Chaturvedi said that the Chief Minister has announced Rs 270 crore in the then budget for the advancement and development of the backward sections of the society, this will also increase social harmony. Along with the Chief Minister, Kahturvedi also congratulated the teachers of the state on Teachers' Day.

Apart from this, the state government also announced to give Rs 2 lakh for the development of hair artist, plumber, cook, potter and shoe repair class.
