Himachal Himcare Health Scheme 2023

Features and benefits of the scheme:-

• Assistance to the people of economically weaker section:- The benefit of this scheme is to be given especially to the people of economically weaker section of Himachal Pradesh, so that they do not face any problem in taking care of their health.
• Assistance to be given:- Under this scheme, a provision has been made to provide free health facilities up to Rs 5 lakh to the beneficiaries and their families. And this facility will be valid for up to 1 year. After which renewal will have to be done for this scheme every year.
• Panel Process and Package Rates:- Hospitals under Ayushman Bharat will also come under Him Care Scheme, and Ayushman Bharat packet rates will be adopted, which are customized for the state.
• Total hospitals participating in this:- At present 202 hospitals are registered under this scheme in entire Himachal Pradesh. And out of them, there are 48 hospitals which are private.
• Him Care Partner:- Ayushman Bharat – Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, the hospitals had given the responsibility of identification system of beneficiaries to Pradhan Mantri Aayog Mitra, who also works to implement Ayushman Bharat. Similarly, there will be Him Care Saathi for this scheme.

Scheme Eligibility Criteria and Documents:-

Residents of Himachal Pradesh:- This scheme has been started by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, hence its beneficiaries will be only the people of Himachal Pradesh.

Family Eligibility:- The family to be included in this scheme should have a maximum of 5 members. If there are more than 5 members in the family, then each additional member will have to register in a group of 5 members.

Beneficiaries included in Ayushman Bharat Yojana:- This scheme is largely similar to Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Therefore, those people of the state who will join the Ayushman Bharat scheme will not be able to get the benefits of this scheme.

Documents: – When you register in this scheme, you will need some documents, which can be Aadhar card, ration card, mobile number and category proof etc. Therefore, while registering in this scheme, you should keep all these documents with you.

Registration For Him Care Scheme:-

Residents of Himachal Pradesh can register themselves by visiting its official website hpsbys.in. This web interface will capture the proof of ration card, Aadhaar, mobile number and category.

Along with this, beneficiaries can apply either through online system or directly through Lok Mitra Kendra (LMK) or Common Service Center (CSC). And they can pay the premium using online payment gateway.

Once the enrollment is approved from the back-end, the beneficiaries will receive SMS of their enrollment and will then be able to download or generate the e-card. Because this scheme has been implemented through e-card.

Under this scheme, CSC/LMK will charge Rs 50 per family from the beneficiaries for enrolling and uploading the documents.

After this, approval message will come, and then the beneficiary can get the printed e-card from his/her CSC/LMK.

Important Note:- Since Him Care Scheme in Himachal Pradesh has been started by merging Chief Minister State Health Care Scheme and Himachal Pradesh Universal Health Care Scheme, hence all the existing beneficiaries under these two schemes will be able to update all their data with a single unique ID. Will become available on the system. And they will automatically receive the link to download the new card on their registered mobile number. Along with this, the option to generate e-card at the hospital level will also be available.

Him Care Card Renewal:-

When this policy expires, you will be informed through SMS on your registered mobile for renewal of the policy 15 days before that. Nomination or renewal will be open only for 3 months in a year, i.e. from January to March.

In this way the residents of Himachal Pradesh can avail the benefits of this scheme and take care of their health.
