The Andhra Pradesh government has come up with an incentive scheme for all the small-scale businessmen in the Andhra Pradesh state. The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the second edition of the tranche of the Jagananna Chedodu Scheme on 8th February 2022. Through this tranche fund of Rs 285.35 crores has been credited into the accounts of 2285350 citizens from rajakas, Nayee brahmins and tailored belongings to all communities. This fund has been transferred through the virtual Launch taking place at the Tadepalli camp office. Beneficiaries will be provided the one-time amount of Rs 10000 under this scheme. The beneficiaries can utilize this fund for purchasing tools, equipment, and other essentials. In order to grow their source of income and work establishment this scheme will fulfill their investment needs.
Till now the Government of Andhra Pradesh has disbursed Rs 583.78 crores under this scheme. This scheme has been launched in order to provide funds to the tailors, washermen, barbers, etc who have lost their livelihood due to covid-19. The fund provided under this scheme will be transferred into the bank account of the beneficiaries through direct benefit transfer. The beneficiaries will be identified and shortlisted through a survey. A list of qualified applicants for village and ward secretaries will be presented and from this list, a social audit will be carried out and beneficiaries will be chosen.
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh State YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy started the cheddar scheme on Wednesday 10th June 2020 by transferring the benefits of Rs. 10000/-in the account of each beneficiary. The state government has issued an amount of Rs. 247.04 crore for about 2.47 Lakh beneficiaries. Under this scheme amount will transfer to the bank account of 82,347 Rajakas, 38,767 Nayee Brahmins, and 1.25 lakh tailors. Not only this the government has also decided to extend the benefits of this scheme to barbers who own a shop.
Nayi Brahmins, Laundrymen, and Tailors will get financial assistance of Rs. 10000/- per year directly transferred into their bank account. Applicants can check their accounts to know about the money transfer.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicants must be eligible to apply for the scheme by the following eligibility criteria given below:-
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh state.
- An applicant must be a tailor, hairdresser, or laundryman.
- The applicant must have registered with the social authorities of their profession.

- A list appears from where you need to choose your district name
- Hit the link given in the column (urban or rural) in front of your district name as per your locality
- Hit the Mandal name from the list appear further and choose the link, given opposite to your Mandal name
- Note down your secretariat code appear on the screen
The scheme has been launched for the small businessman in the Andhra Pradesh state. The small businessman will include all of the Tailors, laundrymen, and hairdressers or barbers of the Andhra Pradesh state. The government of Andhra Pradesh ensures that the scheme ultimately works for the Welfare of Beneficiaries. And all the beneficiaries will be identified and shortlisted by the surveys.
So each beneficiary under this scheme after the right verification will become eligible to receive the advantage of 10,000 rs per year. And the amount of the assistance will be directly transferred to the Bank Account of the beneficiaries by the DBT method. Andhra Pradesh Cheif Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched the Jagananna Vidhya Deevena scheme in 2019. Under this scheme, aspirants who are interested in studying higher education will get the benefit. Through the JVD scheme, the government will provide financial support for the students to pursue higher education. Students who are studying Diploma, Polytechnic, Degree, B.Tech, Medicine, and other professional courses are eligible. The government credited the full amount of the college fee to the mother’s bank account.
