 On 21st December 2021, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme 2022. Through this scheme, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is going to waive off all the loans and their interest on the government-sanctioned houses and provide beneficiaries full rights over their property. Under this OTS scheme, the state government will be providing permanent ownership to the beneficiaries for their houses constructed under various government schemes, which will cost the exchequer an expenditure of Rs 16,000 crore, including the loan waiver and exemption of registration fees.
